Hi, I’m a cat-loving, problem-solving logistics geek who’s always learning something new! Just ask my wife – she’ll tell you my thirst for knowledge rivals my curiosity about what the cat’s dragged in. Life’s one big forklift to me, always lifting and moving forward!
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I showcase my creative ventures, tutorials, thoughts, and anything else I fancy sharing with the world.
I spent nearly a decade as a shipping clerk, making sure products reached their destinations across the globe. But there came a point when I knew I wanted something different for my career. So, I took a leap, went back to college, and dived into a brand-new field. The whirlwind journey of uprooting my life twice over, from graduation to settling in Huntsville, Alabama, has been nothing short of a thrilling adventure.
Hobbies
I have a new found passion for softball. I first started playing in spring 2023 and now coach a team named Slide Right for the Nexus league of Huntsville, AL. Our team actually won the whole division and are heading to the NAGAAA World Series!!!
Gardening also holds a special place in my heart. I am a proud plant parent, when I’m not deep in the weeds of tech problem-solving, you’ll find me chin-deep in actual weeds. A word of caution though: a plant nursery is my version of a candy store, irresistible!
I also have a keen interest in traveling, especially when it involves frugal planning. My most memorable adventure was a summer spent couch-surfing across California and back. It was an unusual yet unforgettable experience that I cherish greatly.
